Our Story

Rooted in Family, Grounded in the Hudson Valley

We’re a small, family-run farm in the Hudson Valley, raising our four kids alongside our animals, crops, and the land itself. Our days begin with the roosters, end with the sunset, and are filled with the kind of hard work that connects us to each other and to the community we love.

Right here on the farm at our Little Red Farmstand and through our online shop, we share the meats, eggs, and produce we raise with care. Everything we do is guided by regenerative practices—because healthy soil, happy animals, and strong community are what make food truly nourishing.

Our Story

Back in 2011, we made a big leap: fell in love, had a baby, and decided to leave the “normal” track behind to build a farm from the ground up. It wasn’t easy—there were plenty of mistakes and plenty of laughter—but the mission was clear from the start: regenerate the land, raise animals with respect, and feed our family and neighbors the healthiest food possible.

From those early years we’ve held fast to a few simple principles:

  • No shortcuts—never any GMOs, antibiotics, or hormones.

  • Nature knows best—animals roaming pastures and woodlots, vegetables grown with the seasons.

  • Community matters—our farm only thrives because of the people around it, so we give back regularly to local charities and food banks.

What We Raise

On our pastures and fields you’ll find:

  • Grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat

  • Pasture-raised pork, chicken, and holiday turkeys

  • Farm-fresh eggs

  • Seasonal organic vegetables

Everything comes from land and animals cared for the way we’d want for our own family—because they’re part of our family.

Why We Farm

For us, farming isn’t just a livelihood—it’s a way to live with purpose. Each day is a chance to care for the soil, nurture animals, and raise kids who know the value of both. Each meal that leaves our farm carries that spirit with it: a little bit of our land, our labor, and our love.

We’re grateful to share it with you.

Nothing fuels you like family.
